The general return policy applies to all products except special products(Accessories like PCB, downrod, light cover) and clearance items.

The return policy can be only processed for the products that purchase from our website(Which customer needs to provide SF# order number when claiming to return).
Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

Additional Conditions of Return (HVLS Fans):
- If your fan is defective or incorrect, we will arrange free return shipping. Otherwise, all costs of the return, including shipping costs and freight insurance, are your responsibility.
- You are responsible for risk of loss and product damage due to shipping.
- For product that has been unpacked but not installed, you will be charged a 40% restocking fee.
- Smafan will not accept returns for product that has been installed, used, or damaged.
Additional Conditions of Return (Wall Panels):
- We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We require imagery of the package before it is sent in its original packaging and undamaged.
- We cannot process refunds or returns for color variations within any of our products.
- We do not cover the cost of return shipping if you have decided you do not like the product or there are slight color differences, knots or issues that come with the panel being a natural wood product.
To ensure a smooth return process, please be aware of the following important guidelines:
- Timely Returns: Once you receive the return shipping label, kindly return the product(s) within 10-days. Delay beyond this period will result in the cancellation of the return process.
- Extended Return Window: If you miss the initial 10-day window, don't worry! You still have the option to contact us and submit a new return request anytime within the 90-day return period.
Items Eligible For Return and Exchange (Items must meet all these requirements):
- Match the return periods of receiving your order.
- In original condition: resalable, unused, or undamaged and in the original packaging.
- Items need to be returned in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched, or missing major contents may be denied a return.
- When returned item purchased in "Buy 1 Get 50% on the Second", you must return both products. If you only return one product, the refund amount will be the amount paid minus the sale price of the product)
- Special consideration: we understand that buyer's remorse is part of life, but it is advisable to consider the below factors before purchasing our products. It would prevent a potentially lengthy and tedious return process:
- Check the electrical wiring in your home. Some of our products may require more updated electrical wiring.
- Consider if the style of your home will match the product you're purchasing.
Final Sale And Nonreturnable Items
All Final Sale merchandise cannot be returned. Other nonreturnable purchases include custom orders, personalized orders, and aforementioned non-resalable items.
For the item as the prize of special giveaway campaign, no returns or exchanges will be accepted if not related to quality issues.
How to Return An Item
If your order has a problem, please contact us by email or through the contact page. DO NOT ship back products without an RMA authorization through the return process. We can resolve most of the issues if you contact us directly.
An RMA number is required from us for all approved returns. We will not accept any returns without an RMA number. Orders received with incorrect or defective products also require RMA authorization.
Customer is responsible for all associated return shipping costs unless products are defective or incorrect. Any incurred shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
Our refund policy is only applicable to successful returns.
Refund Method
With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them. If you prefer, you can make an exchange for the same item. Please call us at 909 503 9060 with your order number handy, and we'll be happy to send you a replacement.
For returns by mail, once we receive your return, we will process it within 7 - 10 business days. Depending on your bank's processing time, it may take up to 7 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
If an item is returned is not in the acceptable condition, we will reserve the right of withholding part of the refund.
