Please note that the Aspen II wall switch is not sold separately, and it is not compatible with the original Aspen — the two models use different internal wiring and motor communication systems. No — the standard Aspen 48" includes a remote control, smartphone app (Carro Home), and voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri Shortcuts, but it does not come with a wall switch.

No — the standard Aspen is a flush-mount (low-profile) ceiling fan, designed for flat ceilings 8–9 ft high. It does not include a downrod and is not compatible with sloped or vaulted ceilings.

If you have a sloped, vaulted, or higher ceiling, we recommend the Aspen Downrod 48" instead, which includes a downrod mount and supports angled ceilings for proper airflow at the correct height.

The Aspen features an integrated 1300-lumen dimmable LED light kit — bright enough to fully light a small room without a separate ceiling fixture. It's fully dimmable and supports adjustable color temperature from 2700K (warm) to 4000K (daylight):

• 2700K — cozy and relaxing, ideal for bedrooms and evenings
• 3500K — balanced everyday light
• 4000K — bright daylight, great for work or task lighting

Yes — the Aspen's 10-speed DC motor is fully reversible, and switching between summer mode (downdraft for cooling) and winter mode (updraft to circulate warm air near the ceiling) is just one tap away from the remote or the Carro Home app. No need to climb a ladder to flip a manual switch like older fans. The 48-inch Aspen is designed for small to medium rooms between 75–144 sq ft — typical sizes for bedrooms, home offices, kids' rooms, small living rooms, breakfast nooks, and covered patios up to about 12×12 ft. With 3700 CFM of airflow, it delivers strong cooling for these spaces without overwhelming them.

If your room is larger than 12×12 ft, we recommend the 52-inch Aspen for stronger airflow and better coverage.

The standard Aspen has standby memory — it remembers your last fan speed, brightness and light color temperature, so when you turn the fan back on with the remote or app, it picks up exactly where you left off.

However, the Aspen does not have Full Power-Off Memory. After a power outage or when the main breaker is cut and restored, the fan will return to default settings rather than automatically resuming your last speed and brightness.
