Colmar Outdoor Flush Mount Smart Ceiling Fan with Led light remote 52 inch

Q: Does the Colmar 52" come with a wall switch?

No. The Colmar 52" is controlled by its remote, the Carro Home app, and voice through Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri Shortcuts, so no wall switch is required. The Colmar II wall control isn't sold separately and won't work with this model. If you want a hardwired wall switch, choose the Colmar II 52".

Q: Is the Colmar 52" light bright enough for a living room?

For most living rooms up to 300 sq ft, yes. The Colmar 52" has an integrated 1,915-lumen LED with 3 tones between 2700K warm and 4000K daylight. It dims to 10% from the remote and down to 1% in the Carro Home app, and it's rated for 50,000+ hours, so there are no bulbs to replace.

Q: My ceiling is sloped. Can I use the Colmar 52"?

No. The Colmar 52" mounts flush and only fits flat ceilings, ideally around 8 ft. For a sloped or vaulted ceiling up to 27°, choose the Koa 52", which uses the same solid wood blades and 10-speed DC motor but hangs from a downrod.

Q: Is the Colmar 52" hard to install myself?

It's designed for first-time DIY installers. The Colmar 52" mounts flush with no downrod to assemble, weighs 12 lbs and runs on a standard 120V circuit, wired much like a ceiling light. Turn off the breaker before you start, and hire a licensed electrician if you're not comfortable with wiring.

Q: Is the Colmar 52" too big for a 12 × 12 ft bedroom?

It's right at the edge. The Colmar 52" is sized for rooms of 145–300 sq ft, and a 12 × 12 ft room is 144 sq ft, so it works but can feel large. Its 10 speeds let you keep the breeze gentle at night. For rooms under 145 sq ft, a 48" fan is a closer fit.

Q: Does the Colmar 52" help keep a room warm in winter?

Yes. Switch the Colmar 52" to winter mode from the remote or the Carro Home app and run it clockwise on a low speed to push warm air from the ceiling back down. Its DC motor reverses electronically, so there's no ladder or motor-housing switch as on many AC-motor fans.

FAQ

Does the Colmar 52" come with a wall switch?

Is the Colmar 52" light bright enough for a living room?

For most living rooms up to 300 sq ft, yes. The Colmar 52" has an integrated 1,915-lumen LED with 3 tones between 2700K warm and 4000K daylight. It dims to 10% from the remote and down to 1% in the Carro Home app, and it's rated for 50,000+ hours, so there are no bulbs to replace.

My ceiling is sloped.

Which Colmar 52" finish suits a white farmhouse porch?

Fresh White with Natural Beech blades gives the lightest, coastal-farmhouse look. For a warmer rustic feel, pair the white housing with Amber Walnut, or pick Brushed Nickel for a more modern finish. All Colmar 52" blades are solid wood, and the color selector shows which pairs are available.

Is the Colmar 52" hard to install myself?

It's designed for first-time DIY installers. The Colmar 52" mounts flush with no downrod to assemble, weighs 12 lbs and runs on a standard 120V circuit, wired much like a ceiling light. Turn off the breaker before you start, and hire a licensed electrician if you're not comfortable with wiring.

Is the Colmar 52" too big for a 12 × 12 ft bedroom?

It's right at the edge. The Colmar 52" is sized for rooms of 145–300 sq ft, and a 12 × 12 ft room is 144 sq ft, so it works but can feel large. Its 10 speeds let you keep the breeze gentle at night. For rooms under 145 sq ft, a 48" fan is a closer fit.

Does the Colmar 52" help keep a room warm in winter?

Yes. Switch the Colmar 52" to winter mode from the remote or the Carro Home app and run it clockwise on a low speed to push warm air from the ceiling back down. Its DC motor reverses electronically, so there's no ladder or motor-housing switch as on many AC-motor fans.
