Voyager Ⅱ 52 inch Outdoor/Indoor Smart WiFi Ceiling Fan with LED Light

Q: How long is the downrod that comes with the Voyager II 52"?

6 inches. The Voyager II 52" ships assembled with a 6" downrod, which suits standard 9 ft ceilings. For taller rooms or a high porch roof, swap it for a longer Carro DC extension downrod in the right length. Other brands' downrods may not fit, and a single rod can't be cut or joined.

Q: Can I install the Voyager II 52" on a sloped patio roof?

Yes, on slopes up to 27°. The Voyager II 52" is damp-rated for covered patios and porches and supports angled mounting. On a pitched roof, a longer downrod gives the blades more clearance and helps the airflow reach the seating area below.

Q: Should I get the Voyager II 52" downrod fan or the flush mount?

It depends on your ceiling. The Voyager II 52" hangs from a 6" downrod and works on sloped ceilings up to 27°, so it suits ceilings 9 ft and higher. For a flat 8 ft ceiling, the Voyager II 52" flush mount sits tight to the ceiling. Both include the wall switch and remote.

Q: What can I do from the Voyager II 52" wall control?

Turn the fan and light on or off, set 5 fan speeds, reverse direction, adjust brightness and switch between 3 color temperatures. The wall control is hardwired, needs no batteries and no neutral wire in the wall box, and its main power switch keeps your last settings thanks to Power-Off Memory.

Q: Can I schedule the Voyager II 52" to turn on before I get home?

Yes. On 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the Carro Home app lets you set schedules and timers for the Voyager II 52", or switch it on remotely from anywhere, so the patio or living room is already cool when you arrive. Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri Shortcuts also work for voice control.

Q: Is the Voyager II 52" big enough for a large covered patio?

For patios up to about 300 sq ft, yes. The Voyager II 52" is sized for spaces of 145–300 sq ft and moves up to 4,500 CFM with 5 blades and a 10-speed DC motor. For a bigger outdoor living area, consider a 56" or 60" fan, or two 52" fans paired to one remote.

We now have 2 Voyager fans in our house, and they are almost great. They are quiet yet powerful. You can control the rotation direction straight from the app. But, we wish that the light color temp could be changed as one combined light instead of 2 different temp lights. We also wish we could control if the lights come on or not after a no-power situation. Lastly, we wish this came in a z wave version, as we don't like wifi smart devices as a general rule. Z wave local control is our preferred smart home protocol.

Hello David. Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're glad to hear that you are enjoying the power and quietness of our Voyager smart ceiling fans, as well as the convenience of controlling the rotation direction through the app. We appreciate your suggestions for improvement. While the ability to change the light color temperature as one combined light and controlling the lights' behavior after a power outage are not currently available features, we will certainly consider these suggestions for future product development. Regarding the smart home protocol, we understand your preference for Z-Wave local control. We continually evaluate and explore different technologies and protocols to meet the varying needs of our customers, and your feedback will be taken into consideration for future offerings. Thank you for choosing our products and for taking the time to share your feedback. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your support and strive to continually improve our products and services.

Love the looks of the fan even more than the pictures. Installed easily. Features I was unaware of, bright light white or dimmer light amber. Love the fan speeds, its quietness, and the amount of air it pushes. Very glad I waited for this one, it is perfect. Even my techy son's like it!! Thank you.

There are 2 sets of lights in the fixture, one set is bright white and the other is warm white. I do wish there was a way to disable one or the other and still use the switch on the wall and only have warm white come on. But if you use the switch, then it turns both on at 100% brightness when you turn the switch back on. Aside from what I mentioned, I love it. The entire fixture is sleek and the fan is quiet, but blows plenty of air.

Hi Joseph, thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We are thrilled that you love this Voyager ceiling fan. Your feedback will keep us moving forward and constantly improving our service. I love it. I have this fan in my master bedroom. My ceilings are low, and it fits perfectly. I love how you can change the light to 3 different colors, and you can dim or brighten each setting. The fan works really well. I never have to put it on high.
