FAQ

Do you make a 60" flush-mount fan with a wall switch?

Yes, the Trendsetter II 60". It's a 60" flush-mount fan with a hardwired wall switch, remote, app and voice control, so it covers great rooms over 300 sq ft without hanging low from an 8 ft ceiling. It moves up to 5,050 CFM and mounts on flat ceilings only.

Will the Trendsetter II 60" wall switch work in an older home?

Yes. The Trendsetter II 60" wall switch needs no neutral wire in the switch box, which many older homes don't have. It's hardwired with two wires, brown to the hot and black to the fan, and needs no batteries. Turn off the breaker before wiring, or hire a licensed electrician if you're unsure.

Can I flip the Trendsetter II 60" blades to change the look?

Yes. Each Trendsetter II 60" blade has two different finishes, one per side, so you can pick the look during installation and flip them later if you redecorate. Whichever side you choose, it pairs with the matte black housing for a modern or farmhouse room.

Is the Trendsetter II 60" the same as the Trendsetter Pro 60"?

Yes, except for the wall control. Both have reversible blades, 5,050 CFM, a 1,500-lumen LED and Power-Off Memory. The Trendsetter II 60" adds a hardwired wall switch; if you don't need one, the Trendsetter Pro 60" is the simpler option.

Does the Trendsetter II 60" wall switch reverse the fan direction?

Yes. The Trendsetter II 60" wall switch has a dedicated reverse button, so anyone can switch between summer and winter airflow right from the door, without finding the remote or climbing a ladder. The remote and Carro Home app can reverse it too. On a 60" fan, running clockwise on low in winter spreads warm air across a large room.

Will the Trendsetter II 60" keep my light settings after a storm?

Yes. The Trendsetter II 60" has Power-Off Memory, so after a storm or power outage it returns to your last fan speed, brightness and color temperature. You don't need to reset it from the wall switch, remote or app.

Is the Trendsetter II 60" suitable for a covered lanai?

Yes. The Trendsetter II 60" is damp-rated for covered lanais, patios and screened porches, and it's equally at home indoors in a great room or open living area. Its 60" span covers large seating areas. Keep the fan out of direct rain, and install the wall switch in a dry location.
